Foundational Fertility Tests for Men

If you’re on a fertility journey, here’s your reminder:

It’s only 50% of the investigation if you’re only looking at the wife.

Fertility is a shared responsibility between husband and wife, and both sides of the equation matter more than most people realize.

While so much focus is often placed on the wife’s hormones and cycle, the husband’s health plays a critical role in conception, sperm quality, and overall pregnancy outcomes.

At a minimum, the husband should have the basics evaluated with a functional lens:

• A full thyroid panel (not just TSH)

• Vitamin D levels

• Insulin resistance markers (fasting insulin, glucose, HbA1c)

• Overall metabolic and nutrient status

These are foundational pieces that can significantly impact fertility.

If you’ve been trying without answers, it may not be about doing more—it may be about looking at the full picture.

Don’t leave 50% of the story unexplored.
